EBVTR is designed to assess students' baseline levels and gains in academic and aptitude skills in technical programmers, as well as to better understand the various factors that influence skill development in Technical Institutes across India.

Start-up India:
Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the then Hon'ble President of India, launched the Student Start-up Policy on November 16, 2016, in accordance with the Government of India's "Start-up India" Action Plan to guide and promote student-driven innovations and start-ups in the country.

In collaboration with a number of major national and international ecosystem enablers at various levels, the EBVTR  Start-up Policy Implementation Unit has launched a number of concerted activities toward policy and program convergences and ecosystem streamlining.

Jal Shakti Abhiyan:
The "Jal Shakti Abhiyan" initiative, with the subject "Sanchay Jal Behtar Kal," began on July 1, 2019.

One Student, One Tree:
On July 20th, Hon'ble HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal "Nishank" inaugurated a program called "One Student One Tree." The Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of a green and healthy environment is reflected in this effort.

Skill India:
Skill development and entrepreneurship; The Ministry is in charge of coordinating all Skill Development efforts across the country, including bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled labour, developing a vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, the development of new skills, and innovative thinking for both existing and future jobs.

The Ministry aspires to skill on a wide scale, quickly, and to high standards in order to realize its goal of a "Skilled India.".
